About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER) **Job Duration:** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Experience:** Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience preferred **License:** Current RN licensure **Certifications:** - BLS (Required) - ACLS (Required) - PALS (Required) - CEN (Preferred) - TNCC (Preferred) **Must-Have:** - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience - Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) **Job Description:** - Offer a sign-on bonus for this urgent position - Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned patients - Operate independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards - Read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations - Willingness to float within the department without hesitation - Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 other staff members in a 12-bed unit - Complete a 4 to 6 week orientation with hands-on training before starting floor duties - Engage in planning, directing, and evaluating total nursing care - Maintain effective communication with other shifts for continuity of care - Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and updating of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel - Comply with the ANA's standards for nursing in various settings, ensuring competency as an excellent clinician **Benefits Offered:** - Medical Insurance (2 options) - Flexible Spending Accounts (3 options) - Dental Insurance (3 options) - Vision Insurance - Company Paid Life Insurance - Optional Voluntary Supplement Life Insurance for employee, spouse, and child - Short-Term Disability - Company Paid Long-Term Disability - Accident Insurance - Critical Illness Insurance - Identity Theft Insurance - 403b Retirement Plan - Tuition reimbursement **Note:** Weekend rotation is required.
