Our client, a high-volume manufacturing company in Columbus, Ohio, is in search of an experienced ERP/IT Manager. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the IT department including assisting with the ERP system for the company. developing IT policies and procedures, and leading projects aimed at boosting efficiency and driving innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- A minimum of three years of proven experience in ERP systems, desktop support, and user management systems onsite and remote.
- A deep understanding of high-volume manufacturing inventory infrastructure within an IT Department or role.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure(s), and network administration.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and make strategic decisions quickly.
- Willingness and ability to be on call as needed outside of regular onsite hours.
Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for ERP system support, desktop support and user management of the site.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrade(s), and security of all IT systems, networks, and software applications.
- Ensures cyber security measures are intact and current as well as remediating any threats.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage Contracts with third party IT resources and serves as point of contact.
- Provides support and training to new users/staff as necessary and assists with routine issues.
- Manage company phone system, cell phones, printers/copiers and other office technologies.
- Maintain and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's technology needs are met.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry to recommend innovative solutions to the organization.
- Provide IT related communication and updates as needed to staff and management level executives.
