About the Job
We are looking for a Material Planning Data Analyst to join our growing Supply Chain Team. The person in this position will be responsible for extending and optimizing our product data infrastructure used for operating the business which will drive clear actions and signals throughout all of operations and manufacturing. The ideal candidate is an experienced data analyst who enjoys optimizing large data sets and building them from the ground up. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, domains, systems, and products. The person in this position will work in a small team environment in the evolving world of eVTOL aircraft design.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- The specialist will play a critical role in designing a data structure in our PLM and ERP systems relating to product quality, special handling/storage requirements, and other operational data.
- Create and maintain an optimal data architecture and develop system workflows for data entry and maintenance.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
- Develop data criteria and document the requirements and processes.
- Work with other members of the team to create reporting tools that will allow for data reconciliation and reporting.
- Work across multiple cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and planning.
- Prepare internal communications
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications We are seeking:
- 3+ Years of experience in a Data Management role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on projects.
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
- Strong background understanding of product specification sheets.
- Understanding of storage and handling requirements in a highly regulated industry
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the bill of materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- An understanding of ERP systems
Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
- Experience with AS9100 certification
- Background in Material Science
- Experience using CATIA
