ERP/PeopleSoft Systems Architect - CEDENT

Contractor Responsibilities

1) Support all activities related to ERP and PeopleSoft.

2) Use and share lessons learned and best practices associated with the area of ERP that may promote efficiency and help to identify and mitigate potential risks.

3) Serve as an ERP and/or PeopleSoft subject matter expert, which includes:

a. Providing Solution recommendations;

4) Evaluating designs and configurations for alternatives, including but not limited to:

a. Financials and Payroll implementations

b. Data warehouse/business intelligence implementations

c. Data cleansing and conversion

d. Data integration

e. System, integration and end-user testing

f. Cutover planning and execution

5) Complete knowledge transfer/training activities to the identified parties, as directed by the Department’s Contract Manager or delegate.

6) Provide overall Project support, which includes:

a. Providing updates to Project status reporting;

b. Coordinating with the Directors and Architects to develop/update templates for Project use;

c. Facilitating meetings, promoting teamwork, and providing training as requested;

d. Tracking, mitigating, and escalating risks and issues;

e. Maintaining tools for the Project team’s use;

f. Researching, collecting, evaluating, and refining data/tools necessary to meet Project goals.

g. Keeping the Project Team up to date on the latest PUMS, patches and other releases by PeopleSoft that may impact the currently implemented or to be implemented parts of the Solution.

7) Perform other duties as assigned by the Contract Manager, and/or their delegate.

8) Complete transition services, including facilitating lessons-learned meetings; creating a lessons-learned document related to ERP support services; and providing all the documents, software, software licenses, and other Project artifacts to the Project team as it relates to the work performed under the PO.

9) Assist the Project team to trouble shoot and resolve issues in the production system as requested.

10) Serve as the emergency back-up technical team to keep the production system stabilized in case the SSI Vendor’s contract is Terminated or Expires (emergency back-up activation event) prior to execution of a new contract. This service would be as activated and directed by the customer in case of such event.

11) Conduct work (and ensure that any tools, templates, or applications are developed) in accordance with the OIT standards and specifications

Qualification Requirements for the ERP Resource

a. Minimum Experience.

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing activities directly related to ERP.

• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple levels, from leadership (e.g., CIO), to technical and functional staff.

• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.

• Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.

• Experience implementing PeopleSoft or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (or legacy versions of this solution).

b. Preferred Experience.

• Experience working with the State or with other state governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.

• Experience implementing o data warehouse/business intelligence solutions.

o Financials and Payroll implementations

o Data cleansing and conversion

o Data integration

o System, integration and end-user testing

o Cutover planning and execution

• Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.59+ and fluid page development.
