We are looking for an Escrow Assistant/Officer responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Conduct buyer and seller closings.
- Coordinate remote closings.
- Handle any and all complaints.
- Make visits/marketing to lenders and real estate agents as needed/requested. (in conjunction with the marketing representative.)
- Review and work to clear title issues for files.
- Train new employees.
- Schedules closings.
- Request updates of title at the time the closing is scheduled.
- Prepare CDs and balance with the lender.
- Prepare/review closing documents.
- Prepare draft/final CD.
- Coordinate with buyers/sellers/realtors and lenders in providing documentation to prepare for closing.
- Reach out to the File Assigned Attorney when legal questions/issues arise.
- 1 or more years experience as an Escrow Officer, or 2-3 years experience as a senior-level Escrow Assistant.
- Excellent computer skills. Experience with title/escrow software, Qualia a plus.
