About the Job
Position involves the performing the daily duties of an Escrow Officer. Escrow duties involve the setup of purchase and loan documents involved in residential real estate title transactions. The candidate will interact with clients and handle the signing of all documents as well as assist in the disbursement of funds needed to complete and close the transaction. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Responsibilities:1. Produce, receive, review and oversee the completion of documents by parties involved in a residential real estate transaction.
2. Ability to balance, disburse and distribute all funds for real estate transactions.
3. Inform, interact and coordinate with all clients and parties involved in a file to ensure a timely and accurate completion of the transaction.
4. Scanning, labeling and digital storage of all documents involved in the transaction.
5. Keeps current with market trends and demands.
6. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Required:
• Eligibility for state licensure as required, including passing any background or other testing as required by state or local government.
• 2+ years of performing escrow duties for real estate transactions in same or related industry.
• High School Diploma
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Proficient in MS Word and production of PDF documents.
Preferred:
• College Degree in Business or related field.
• Notary Certification.
