Direct Counsel is seeking an ESOP Associate to join a prominent Tax & Benefits practice group at a well-respected law firm known for its expertise in Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney to contribute to a dynamic team that values client service and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on ESOP plan design and implementation
- Develop and structure leveraged ESOP strategies
- Guide companies on tax and ERISA implications of ESOP transactions
- Structure business transactions involving ESOPs
- Provide comprehensive tax planning services
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in ESOPs or related fields
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
- Client-service oriented with exceptional communication abilities
- Enthusiasm for working with and building a diverse team
- Ability to handle significant individual responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually (dependent on experience and qualifications)
