Locations: Charlotte NC, Irving TX
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Essbase Administrator to manage and optimize our Essbase applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Essbase systems to ensure peak performance and reliability. You will work closely with finance and IT teams to support analytical reporting and data modeling needs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Essbase systems to ensure peak performance and reliability. You will work closely with finance and IT teams to support analytical reporting and data modeling needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Essbase environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize application efficiency.
- Manage data loading processes, including ETL and integration with other databases.
- Develop and maintain Essbase cubes and dimensions to meet business requirements.
- Implement security measures and user access controls within the Essbase environment.
- Provide technical support for Essbase users and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement reporting solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Stay up-to-date with Essbase features, enhancements, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Essbase Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of OLAP concepts and multidimensional data modeling.
- Proficiency in Essbase tools, including Smart View and Calculation scripts.
- Familiarity with SQL and data integration technologies.
- Hands on experience working on UNIX / Windows platform
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting in an Essbase environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Oracle Essbase certification.
- Experience with other Oracle EPM/BI tools (e.g., Planning, Financial Reporting).
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and data warehousing concepts.
