Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Draft and implement comprehensive estate plans for clients, including wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice to clients on estate planning and asset protection, ensuring their assets are secure and their wishes are carried out.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in estate planning, tax law, and asset protection to provide the most accurate and effective advice to clients.
- Collaborate with tax professionals and financial advisors to develop strategies to reduce estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
- Handle probate and trust administration processes, including the preparation of estate tax returns.
- Review and interpret wills and trusts for legal compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various estate planning and tax law matters.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in estate planning, wills, trusts, tax law, and asset protection.
- Demonstrated knowledge of estate planning techniques and strategies, as well as a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
