We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Estate Planning Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in tax, trust, and estate planning. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and guidance related to estate planning, trust administration, and tax strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex legal matters, collaborate with other professionals, and contribute to our firm's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, and tax strategies.
2. Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
3. Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
4. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and before tax authorities.
5. Work closely with clients to understand their estate planning goals and objectives and develop tailored strategies to achieve them.
6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in estate planning, trust, and tax laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to estate planning and wealth transfer.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communication with clients and promptly responding to their inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and tax law.
4. In-depth knowledge of estate planning, trust, and tax laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. High level of professionalism and integrity.
9. Exceptional customer service skills, with a client-centered approach to estate planning.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
12. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
