The Estate Settlement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts and workflow of the Estate Settlement Team while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to beneficiaries, teammates and other professional advisors. Individuals are responsible for daily independent decisions related to servicing accounts and supporting the team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform administrative duties in support of the Estate Settlement Team
- Create positive relationships
- Coordinate and organize internal and external meetings
- Prepare comprehensive information packets for our beneficiaries to ensure a positive meeting experience
- Update account records and file keeping to ensure compliance
- Proactively plan and communicate internally for upcoming meetings, tasks, and key performance indicators
- Decision making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently
- Preparation of business letters and various other forms of written communications to clients
- Develop and manage the estate settlement lifecycle, proactively communicate requirements
- Initiate transactions in client accounts including deposits and disbursements
- Client contact management involving keeping electronic files and the CRM system updated by filing documents in client files and making entries when client contact is made
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
- Participate as an impactful member of assigned workgroups and projects as assigned
- Use independent judgment to handle phone inquiries from internal and external clients, research, and respond as appropriate
- All other duties as assigned
What You Need for this Position:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of one year of experience in a professional office environment or equivalent education and experience. Prior financial services and customer service experience preferred, but not required.
