The Legal Department at our Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY has an opening for an Estates Specialist. This position functions as an integral component of estates documentation processing and coordination, primarily responsible for the preparation of correspondence and documents for signature and sending them out after they have been executed.

This position requires approximately 35 hours of work per week and is onsite.

• Associate's degree
• Two years of related experience
• This position entails replying to correspondence received from courts, law firms, and financial institutions – must be able to understand correspondence received in order to reply appropriately.
• Must be or willing to be appointed as a New York State Notary Public.
• Position requires a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, an ability to work semi-independently, and ability to prioritize when necessary due to time constraints.
• Strong computer skills required for Microsoft Office Word and Lotus Notes. Ability to learn new databases.
• Ability to use multi-functional copier.
