Responsibilities:- Serves as an expert in skin analysis and formulates skin care plans for patients including in-office treatments and at-home regimens.
- Provides facials, waxing, chemical peels, dermaplaning and other medical-grade cosmetic treatments.
- Performs pre- and post-operative skin care treatments collaboratively with a dermatologist and/or last surgeon.
- Educates patients on how to optimize the healing process through effective skin care and massage.
- Maintains product and supply inventory.
- Provides education to staff on products and procedures.
- Researches and provides input on bringing in new product and equipment technology.
- Assists providers with non-invasive clinical procedures as needed.
- Attends marketing events as needed.
- Answers patients' calls and determines how to assist them.
- Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. Identifies and/or communicates any safety issues for the clinical equipment, building, follows-up to ensure completion.
- Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems.
- Travel may be required to accommodate staffing levels at other clinical facilities.
- Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Licensed through the Ohio Board of Cosmetology. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of patient care aids. Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Pay Range:USD $19.73 - USD $29.59 /Hr.
