Job Description

We are looking for a skilled High-End Residential Remodel and Renovation Estimator to manage the estimation process for our luxury residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of residential construction, and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for high-end residential remodels and renovations.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for accurate estimates.
• Present estimates to clients and provide explanations as needed.
• Track and manage changes in project scope, updating estimates accordingly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction estimating, with a focus on high-end remodels and renovations.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Buildertrend).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
