Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an **Estimating Lead** to be based in **Sacramento, CA** . **JOB SUMMARY:** In this role, you'll prepare cost estimates on Rail/Transit Projects. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Manages the cost estimating group in the development of all capital cost estimates for the clients from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates. + Facilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholders. + Supports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update Reports. + Supports the review of Contractor estimates and claims. + Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating. **Qualifications** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** + BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Knowledge of all design and construction disciplines means, and methods used on transit infrastructure work in general. + Experience in database driven estimating software (Timberline, Heavy Bid, etc.) as well as electronic quantity surveying systems. + Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of estimating. + Mega program experience + Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Science/Management or Quantity Surveying **Additional Information** + Travel may be required for this position. + Sponsorship is available for this position \#LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
