Estimator - Bridge/Structure - J.Riley Recruitment

We have been retained by our client, a growing heavy civil and construction company in Oregon, OH, to find an Estimator with a strong background in structures and/or bridges. This position will be responsible for project estimating, preparing and reviewing bids, and supporting the transition to construction management.

Duties:

• Lead safety across all areas of the organization.
• Perform all aspects of project estimating, including scope definition, bid preparation, and review.
• Identify bid opportunities and coordinate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Conduct site visits, review plans, and assess opportunities and risks.
• Provide job costing analysis and feedback to field supervisors to optimize project performance.

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 5-15 years of bridge and structures project experience.
• Experience with estimating in heavy civil industry
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
