Job description
Looking for an experienced project estimator to provide bids to the sales team.
Sign experience is a PLUS but not required.
QuickBooks:
- Study QBs and get familiar with our job entry format, naming system, and customer hierarchy.
Creating Job Estimates:
- Read plans and surveys.
- Interview sales to gather the scope of work.
- Provide costing/budget for prepared estimates.
- Communicate with Subcontractors when applicable.
- Request vendor quotes when applicable.
- Create all estimates within 7 business days.
- Prepare all revisions for jobs.
Auditing Contracts:
- Review the project once sold.
- Ensure that all quotes are up to date and match SOW.
- Present project to Project Management Team.
Vendor Quote Requests:
- Request vendor quotes and material lists to estimate a job.
Corel Draw/Google Earth:
- Learn to navigate Corel Draw and set up vendor quote requests.
