JOB DESCRIPTION:
SBI Consultants Inc is currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. This Technical Solutions role integral to the project success. As SBI project team member, Estimator provides technical expert advice to the client (ex. estimating, scheduling etc.) Responsivities and tasks may vary depending on a project size and stage; Estimator may be assigned full responsibility for a process or project technical solution(s) that may require prioritizing work and coordinating tasks among other team members. The Estimator should be knowledgeable and able to speak intelligently within the various disciplines and act as the primary technical point of contact for the client
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine processes and resource requirements.
- Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet deadlines according to client expectations.
- Outlines the schedule for each project/stage according to established project milestones, sequences and lead times.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Confers with project lead to determine status of assigned project(s).
- Work closely with and provide progress updates to the project lead.
- May be assigned full responsibility for a process or project technical solution(s) that may require prioritizing work and coordinating tasks among other team members.
- May support SBI Advisory solutions - due diligence, feasibility studies and risk assessment - for less complex projects or complex projects with supervision.
- Delay analysis - look in to past and figure out.
- Ability to support in performance of quantifying damages and or schedule analysis.
- Support performance in dispute situations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor and/or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university. 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree is preferred.
Experience managing a process on a large project or managing a small project is required. Experience in all stages of a project - from estimating to close out - is a must.
Successful candidate must be a problem solver and a team player, who is able to manage time, plan and prioritize assignments to meet clients' demands and project(s) deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
COMPENSATION:
Offered rate of compensation will commensurate with individual education, qualifications, experience, skills and work location. Salary range for this position is $97,000 - $137,000 annually plus Performance Bonus & Profit Sharing Bonus.
