Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Chandler, AZ. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate cost estimates for a wide variety of plumbing and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within time constraints. • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Analyze labor, materials, and equipment requirements to determine project costs.
• Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Create and present detailed cost estimates to project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the estimating process, ensuring that all estimates are completed on time and within company standards.
• Update and maintain cost databases for materials and labor to ensure current and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth transitions from estimating to project execution.
• Identify potential project risks and provide suggestions for cost-saving alternatives.
• Track project performance, including budget adherence and post-project analysis to improve future estimates.

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating in plumbing or mechanical systems required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost structures, labor requirements, and materials.
• Experience using estimating software (such as Bluebeam or ProEst) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Arizona is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
