Goff Construction Services, LLC is seeking a meticulous and analytical Estimator to join our experienced team. This pivotal role involves preparing detailed project cost estimates for commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and the procurement team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing, contributing directly to the financial and operational success of our projects.

• Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Interface with project managers, design teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment of project specifications and expectations.
• Manage the tender process, including preparing and submitting bid proposals.
• Conduct post-bid analysis and discussions to continuously refine and improve estimating strategies.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of industry trends, pricing, and regulatory changes that may impact cost estimation.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore, as well as MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, compliance, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to visualize and understand complex construction projects.
• Strong communication skills to effectively negotiate with suppliers and explain proposals to stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management skills are essential for managing multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
