PBC Hotel Construction Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of construction administrative experience, full plan reading knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in supporting project estimation and coordination, ensuring that client proposals, subcontractor contracts, and budgets are managed efficiently.
- Send project plans out for bids to subcontractors and vendors.
- Evaluate and compare trade pricing, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Prepare and manage client budgets and proposals for construction projects.
- Draft and manage subcontractor contracts and agreements.
- Facilitate smooth project hand-offs between estimating, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize construction-based software to manage project estimates, documentation, and communication.
- Maintain organization of project documents and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction administration, estimation, or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in hotel construction or similar commercial projects is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
