Project Manager/Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join our civil site development team. This role will involve both project management and estimating duties, working on projects that include earthworks, underground utilities, grading, concrete, and other site development tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and project coordination, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil site development projects, including earthworks, grading, utilities, concrete, and other construction activities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Track and monitor project progress, resolving any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Oversee contract negotiations and change orders.
- Review and interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications to develop accurate project scopes.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, including bids, contracts, and field reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project management and estimating, preferably in civil site development (earthwork, underground utilities, grading, concrete, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, estimating software, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
