Estimator - Residential Remodeling - Lars Remodeling and Design

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lars Remodeling & Design is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to complete a project.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and document proposed conceptual design plans from the in-house Residential Design Department;
• Must have a good understanding of basic design principles;
• Review all design notes from the team to ensure all ideas, features and scope are included in project estimate;
• Effectively estimate the proposed plans by understanding and identifying the required structural and building requirements to effectively and efficiently build the project;
• Accurately write a detailed Scope of Work illustrating the proposed changes broken down into individual trades/projects;
• Utilize in-house detailed cost sheet and accurately provide a detailed estimate while maintaining company objectives; and
• Identify areas where "value engineering" could help the sale of the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, based on experience.
