Estimator at Micro Tech

A Growing Manufacturing Company is seeking an Estimator for a facility in South Shore, MA!

This individual should have experience in a estimating and analyzing blueprints for bidding on projects – per customer specification
Must have a high degree of knowledge and experience in the area of construction projects preferred


Responsibilities and Duties:

Review and interpret customer designs and specifications to develop manufacturing methods and processes for the purpose of generating cost estimates; including labor, material, and sub-tier processing
Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
Broad experience with manufacturing methods for precision parts
The ability to understand and assimilate complex Customer requirements such as Drawings, specifications, and Product Performance outputs into manufacturing processes
Ability to review and analyze financial data as it relates to pricing and specific departmental profitability
Proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent professional written communication skills
Excellent project and program management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
