Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated ETD Operations Analyst with a foundational understanding of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Futures & Options. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Required Skills:
- General understanding of Exchange-Traded Derivatives, Futures & Options.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analytics, and ability to create PowerPoint presentations and process flow charts using Visio.
- Previous experience at an Exchange or financial institution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
- Collaborative mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
- Eager to learn the functions of the role and use GMI.
Industry-Specific Terms:
- Familiarity with Exchange, FCM, GMI, R&N, Clearing, Position Management, CME, CBT, OCC, ICE US, CBOE, Intercontinental Exchange, Balancing, and Reconciliations.
Deal-Breakers:
- Previous experience as a front office trader.
