Title: ETL Developer
Rate: $47/ hour on W2 only
Location: Denver, CO 80206
Responsibilities and Duties
• Participate in all phases of the systems development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and deployment
• Ability to effectively interact with various levels of technologists for devising an effective solution to meet business requirements
• Working knowledge of data warehousing and data mart architectures, concepts and processes required
• Detailed knowledge of extract, transform and load procedures, technologies, techniques and test approaches
• Development of queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and materialized views (SQL Server)
• Performance tuning of queries and mappings/workflows
• Documentation of ETL jobs
• Unit and systems testing of ETL code
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge and working experience in Informatica Power Center 9.x
• Strong understanding of Datwarehouse concepts and data modeling
• Experience in SQL Server and Oracle
• Ability to write, test/debug, and tune complex queries
• Write stored procedures, stored functions and triggers
• Experience in Unix and shell scripting
• Experience in Autosys or similar scheduling tools
• Cognos (Nice to have)
