Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Chef to join our culinary team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Executive Chef in crafting sophisticated menus, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and leading a dynamic kitchen team for all of our Private Events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create seasonal menus that reflect the latest culinary trends, while maintaining the club's distinguished reputation.
• Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain exceptional standards of food presentation, taste, and consistency, ensuring every dish meets our quality benchmarks.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering and maintaining stock levels, to ensure cost-effective and smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Culinary degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Extensive experience in high-end dining establishments, preferably within private clubs or similar settings.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team management and development.
• In-depth knowledge of current culinary trends and the ability to incorporate them into menu offerings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and creativity in dish presentation and flavor composition.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
