Duration: 3 months
Location: REMOTE (Some travel into the Boston as needed)
Our Fortune 500 Financial Services client has a HOT need for an Event Coordinator with up to 3 years experience with leading and planning enterprise corporate events. MUST be local to Boston to join the Events & Conference Management team for a 3-month HYBRID contract role starting in October in 2024!
Event Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain electronic files, event database, and project management system.
- Organize and provide documents, reports, and information.
- Maintain and reorder event related supplies.
- Upon request handle shipping of event related materials to and from events.
- Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and finding solutions.
- Manage and respond to emails in event related email inboxes.
- Update CVENT (Event management platform) as needed with updates to event dates, location, and budget numbers.
- Update events in Airtable project management system and keep records updated.
- Review final contracts for important dates and add calendar reminders to ECM planners’ calendars with important events dates (rooming lists due, deposits due, final guarantees, etc.
- Work independently and within a team on special projects, which could include presentations or proofreading.
- Experience with CVENT Event Management Software and Airtable.
- Data entry with strict attention to detail.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized.
- Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Sharepoint.
