About the Role:
As an Event Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and promotion of events. From handling day-to-day administrative tasks to contributing to creative marketing strategies, this position offers hands-on experience in event marketing. You will work closely with the events and marketing teams to ensure the successful delivery of promotional events, and you'll gain invaluable skills in marketing, customer engagement, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing events
- Support the events team with administrative and logistical duties
- Help promote events across social media platforms and other marketing channels
- Create and distribute promotional materials for events
- Provide on-site support during events, including customer service and sales support
- Assist with creative decision-making to enhance event experiences
- Ensure all branded items and event materials are delivered on time
- Help with event setup and breakdown
- Track and report on event outcomes and campaign performance
- Work to meet and exceed campaign targets and goals
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to working hours
- Willingness to travel locally for events as needed
- Professionalism and a positive attitude when representing the business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Interest in marketing and events is a plus
