Worksite location: Not location specific but must be able to quickly travel to an LYB Headquarters office and event locations

For the Marketing Communications Advisor for the Americas, the primary responsibility is to spearhead and oversee the
planning and execution of regional tradeshows and customer events. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with
internal stakeholders, ensuring event alignment with company objectives and branding, managing logistics, nurturing
vendor relationships, and delivering consistent, successful events.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Define the typical knowledge and experience required for the job. Include technical or specialized knowledge and experience, supervisory or managerial skills, human relations skills, and any professional certification or licensing required).
This role will work in tandem with internal stakeholders to execute tradeshows and customer events. Responsibilities
encompass providing guidance on show and venue selection, vendor engagement for booth builders, and could include
content creation for literature and advertisements, collateral development, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead and oversee the planning and execution of tradeshows and customer events specific to the American region for ***. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to comprehend event objectives and deliver strategic event solutions aligned with company messaging. Work in tandem with Marketing Communications Business Leads to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across events. Manage end-to-end logistics, including booth design, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Cultivate and sustain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure flawless event delivery. Evaluate event success through metrics and feedback, providing recommendations for ongoing improvement. Provide guidance on event messaging and maintain brand consistency throughout events.
AREA OF EXPERTISE, REQUIREMENTS
Extensive experience in planning and executing tradeshows and customer events.
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple events concurrently.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Proficient in contract negotiation, budget management, and delivering cost-effective event solutions.
Familiarity with event technologies and trends to elevate attendee engagement.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in managing regional tradeshows and customer events.
Proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor management.
Willingness to travel as required for event coordination.
Creative thinking paired with a strategic mindset to enhance event experiences.
Detail-oriented with a ability for meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
