We are seeking an Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Working as a member of a cohesive operations teams supporting the Director of Catering the General Manager to enable event execution. This individual functions as a support to the team as well as sometimes acts as a junior sales specialist and / or Floor Manager.
- Ensuring all event information in Triple Seat and Open Table from the sales team is up to date and fully detailed prior to event/deadlines.
- Assisting in the setup and execution of events, as well as closing out assigned events.
- Ensuring all event and pre-event paperwork is assembled for proper communication in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with team to ensure proper inventory and cleanliness for event execution and closeout.
- Maintaining calendar of events and attend all necessary event meetings and conference calls.
- Communicate with culinary and operations teams, as needed, to ensure understanding of menus and client needs.
- Assisting with sales during the initial inquiry process.
- As needed, assisting in food and beverage outlets in a supervisory role.
- Partnering with Marketing on social media channels.
- Drive event sales by actively promoting the restaurant's event offerings. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional customer service from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.
- Work closely with the restaurant management team, BOH and FOH teams to coordinate event logistics, including menu planning, staffing and setup. Ensure smooth communication and execution leading up to and on the day of the event.
What we're looking for:
- 2 years of catering/food-beverage and/or administrative/event experience
- Basic PC knowledge and comprehension (Word & Excel)
- Triple Seat, Toast and Open Table
