Duties & Responsibilities | â— Lead the event team by reading and executing "Run of Shows" precisely â— Lead others, provide feedback, maintain inventories, and prepare after action reports â— Take responsibility and work independently to manage events in Event Specialist absence â— Preparing and providing services for events such as: meetings, banquets, weddings, concerts, etc. â— Setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, dinner and drink buffets â— Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner â— Collaborating with culinary team and other staff to ensure seamless event execution â— Maintain professionalism and service by anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly â— Ensure cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events â— Consistently adhere to dress code. â— Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe working area â— Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership â— Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook |
Qualifications & Training | â— 18 years of age or older â— Required: Experience in events/banquets and strong time management and prioritization skills â— Required: Ability to stand for long times and lift/carry items such as linens, trash, and plates â— Can read at an 8th grade level â— Ability to show up on time and work entire shift â— Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination â— Be or become a registered member of Scouting America |

Physical Requirements | â— Up to 14 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. â— Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE |
