Excited to host a large-scale event in Portland, first event is on February 22, 2025, featuring motivational speakers, podcasters, investors, virtual golf, and a VIP dinner. This is just the beginning, as we plan to expand these events to five other cities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team and ensure the success of these events.
The Event-Sales Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Ticket Sales: Drive the sale of 400 event tickets, ranging from $300 to $5,000 each, through effective marketing strategies and direct sales efforts.
- Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of event management, including working with vendors, managing the DJ, catering, and other logistical details to ensure a seamless and successful event.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the event, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships with influencers and industry leaders.
- Budget Management: Manage the event budget, ensuring all expenses are within allocated limits while maximizing profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and contractors to deliver an exceptional event experience.
- Expansion: Support the expansion of this event series to five additional cities, adapting strategies and approaches as needed for each location.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, sales, and marketing.
- Strong track record of successfully selling high-ticket items or event packages.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with budget management and revenue tracking.
- Familiarity with the Portland area and local vendors is a plus.
