Job Description:
The main function of an events coordinator is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. A typical events coordinator acts as information and communication managers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
• Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents.
• File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
• Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
• Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Manage projects or workstreams within projects to ensure timely and effective delivery under the guidance of Learning Events & Experiences Manager and Demand Gen & Storytelling Manager (including but not limited to projects listed below).
Event/Summit Projects:
Corp-led & Field-led Events Support - support specific aspects of corp-led and field-led events (including sourcing MSP content at AI Tours, custom assets or resources for event-related AINSI announcements, corp file management, registration, logistics, etc).
GNPLS ’25 Support - support sponsorship workstream, speaker logistics and website updates.
Demand Gen/Storytelling Projects:
Demand Gen Support (Paid Media) – create templates for dem gen report outs, craft weekly comms and readouts for updates on demand gen, support localization and design support for global assets.
Demand Gen (Through Field) – draft status updates, resource link curation posts, and general communications to keep us aligned across other teams on all efforts to drive demand. When needed, help to create clarity around how to use an asset or
Storytelling Support - support documentation, organization, and follow up related to stories and announcements from field and global teams. Prep work for story V-team. In some instances, support the creation of story outlines and manage the collection of data/quotes from field team.
Skills and Qualifications
MSFT365 Proficiency: incl PPT, Excel, SharePoint, Forms, and Mail Merge
Proven project management experience.
Design skills and experience in template creation.
Proficiency with forms, automation, and organizational tools.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their usage in a professional context.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Typical Day in the Role:
· Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support experiences and engagements related to the Skills for Social Impact body of work.
· Key projects: This role will contribute to events, demand gen (paid media), storytelling.
· Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of Coordinating events on weekly bases and breaking down daily work. 50% events/ summit support 50% demand gen.
