The Events Management Lead serves as a technical authority, analyst and advisor on a wide range of issues related to the management, governance and execution of Bureau events.

The Events Management Lead serves as a technical authority, analyst and advisor on a wide range of issues related to the management, governance and execution of Bureau events.
Responsibilities
As an Events Management Lead, you will:
- Establish and continuously refine the vision, mission and strategy for the Bureau's Events Management Team.
- Lead the strategic direction, planning, execution and management of all Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) sponsored events including those hosted at Bureau offices and at offsite, non-CFPB locations including: CFPB all-staff, Office of Minority and Women Inclusion and Employee Resource Group events, Mandatory Classroom Training, Consumer Advisory Board meetings, Symposia, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) meetings, Field engagements, division all-staff and regional meetings and other applicable events.
- Coordinate with offices across the Bureau to develop policies, processes, and checklists to ensure the efficient and effective organization, coordination and logistics of Bureau events.
- Manages all components of an event and executes event planning strategy for Bureau events including planning, on-the-ground execution, and after-action review of events.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a staff of employees.
- Oversee Interagency Agreement and contract support for events management services.
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
