About the Job
St. David's Foundation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented events professional to oversee and manage events in a consistent and professional manner that promotes our mission and engages audiences. The Events Manager is responsible for planning, managing logistics, and executing special events, convenings, and internal gatherings throughout the year. Events include in-person, online, and hybrid staff gatherings and meetings, Board of Trustees meetings, grantee and community convenings, and large-scale presentations and special events. This role will work directly with Foundation staff to understand the needs and objectives of intended gatherings to create detailed plans that outline tasks, timelines, costs, and necessary resources. This role also will develop and manage event budgets and negotiate with vendors.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, demonstrated experience in event planning, knowledge of relevant platforms and tools, and exhibit flexibility, effective decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
