Overview:Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is searching for a dynamic and experienced Events Manager with a strong attention to detail to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions. You will work with a team of sales professionals who are dedicated to creating unique experiences for our clients and providing exceptional service throughout the sales experience. This position is based in Savannah, Georgia.
Responsibilities:- Work directly with clients to understand their event requirements, coordinate logistics, and ensure meticulous planning and execution of events
- Own the creation and delivery of Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s), communicating effectively across departments to ensure flawless execution of each event
- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and equipment coordination—ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes
- Serve as the onsite central point of contact for the client, including presence at the event(s)
- Maintain positive guest, client, and team member relations
- Maintain impeccable standards of service, continuously monitoring and improving event service processes
- Assist in developing event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality
- A minimum of two (2) years of event services or event management, preferable in luxury hospitality or a related field
- Confident and collaborative with a proven track record in successful event execution, team member engagement and financial performance
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
