POSITION DETAIL

Approaching $650 million in assets, Soarion Federal Credit Union, located in San Antonio, Texas, is currently in search of an Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.  Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will oversee the accounting and finance operations of the credit union and will provide strategic oversight to other areas of the organization.  Primary responsibilities will include leading general accounting, asset liability management, budgeting, financial reporting, investments, financial analysis, and treasury.  Additionally, the successful candidate will play a critical role in the evolving culture of the organization and bring leadership qualities that will reinforce stability throughout the organization.  The ideal candidate will have five plus years of senior executive leadership experience leading fiscal operations for a credit union or retail banking institution.  Strong people management skills, the ability to bring strategic vision, and bachelor’s degree is required.
