DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary
Responsible for cleaning clinical and non clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital
policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Major Responsibilities:
Quality:
Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
Service:
Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards
Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
Manage service recovery as needed.
People:
Foster a culture of commitment to the client vision, mission, and values of the organization.
Participate in team and individual employee training.
Growth:
Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.
Finance:
Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.
Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking
Other:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”
Education & Experience:
High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred
1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred
