Job Description- EVS Janitor- Medical Day Porter
We are seeking an energetic self motivated person to join our awesome team. We are in need of an experienced person in a role focused on Medical building upkeep. This position is expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness within all assigned areas which includes offices, laboratories, training room restrooms, exam rooms etc. EVS Janitor- Medical Day Porter will be expected to meet and/or exceed internal and external customer expectations while adhering to the organizational environmental and infection prevention standards and standards established by external regulatory agencies.

EVS Janitor- Medical Day Porter Job Duties:

• Works as part of a team to carry out cleaning tasks to ensure standards are maintained
• Ensures any repairs noticed during cleaning duties are reported to supervisor in a timely manner
• Ensures cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor are carried out in a timely fashion
• Utilizes proper training to clean up potentially hazardous materials or contact the appropriate authorities to handle such incidents
• Carries out additional or special cleans as instructed by cleaning supervisor
• Identifies appropriate cleaning materials and products to sanitize area, disinfect and deodorize according to company standards
• Organizes cleaning items, disinfectants and other materials kept in storage, as well as cleaning equipment
• Maintains accurate logs and records of areas that have been cleaned and schedule of regular cleaning
• Uses proper signage to indicate wet flooring or other potentially hazardous situations
• Liaises with clients regularly, as well as other team members, supervisor and organizational leadership
• Fulfills work order requests
• Regularly empties trash and recycling
• Replenishes supplies in washrooms, such as hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper
• Follows cleaning routine and schedule as set by supervisor including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window washing, mirrors, etc.

EVS Janitor- Medical Day Porter Job Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to Detail, Courteous, Customer Service Experience, Cleaning Experience, Ability to Work as a Team, Ability to Walk and Stand for Long Periods of Time, Listening Skills, Communication Skills, Takes Direction Well
EVS Janitor- Medical Day Porter Work hours 8:00am til 5:00pm Monday Through Friday. No major holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
