• Develop plans and schedules that adhere to project deadlines and budget
• Maintain accurate, complete, and updated documentation for each project
• Complete material takeoffs and ordering for projects

Our business is expanding, and we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction Excavation Division. This division is poised for tremendous growth in the coming year and years. Our ideal candidate would have a solid commercial construction and excavation background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the drive to see a project through to the end and ensure our customer receives a quality finished product they can count on.

Our Ideal Excavation Project Manager:

• Experienced: At least 3 years of construction project management experience, preferably in excavation and heavy commercial construction; willing to consider an experienced commercial construction foreperson looking to step into a project management role.
• Computer Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Project Management Software is strongly preferred. HCSS Software experience is a plus.
• Organized: Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Able to prioritize and work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter: Driven, self-motivated, and ethical. Someone with a strong work ethic, who keeps commitments, and works with integrity
• Strong Communicator: Interacts politely and professionally with customers and drivers. Active listener with a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Adaptable and Flexible: Comfortable with last-minute changes; ability to prioritize and problem-solve issues that pop up; willing to take calls after hours to address issues
• Active: Must be able to bend, kneel, lift up to 75lbs, and easily navigate active construction sites
