Responsibilities:
- Manage schedules, business travel, and expenses/budgets.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and handle invoices.
- Take minutes during meetings and ensure accurate and timely distribution.
- Identify opportunities for process and procedure efficiencies within the department.
- Propose and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Coordinate department meetings, town halls, committee meetings, and events.
- Prepare agendas, gather materials, and ensure smooth logistics for these gatherings.
- Prepare and provide necessary information, including reports, data analysis, and presentations.
- Assist in coordinating employee events, facilitating team communication, and contributing to onboarding and orientation processes.
- Support and potentially lead projects as assigned.
- Provide work direction to other administrative or temporary staff, as needed.
- Five or more years of administrative assistant experience.
- Associate degree or specialized training, or equivalent experience (college degree preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office at advanced levels.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and coordinate information using good judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to rapidly changing needs and priorities.
