Dermalogica is seeking a dynamic and talented Executive Assistant to the North America General Manager based out of our global headquarters in Carson, CA.
This position is focused on providing administrative support for the General Manager. Strategic thinking and attention to detail are top priorities, and flawless execution is essential. This role liaises with functions and departments across the organization and globally.
The ideal candidate should be highly energetic and proactive; a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities and who finds satisfaction in being accountable to accomplishing results quickly and accurately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to North America General Manager
- Scheduling meetings and managing multiple calendars
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Expense report generation and credit card reconciliation
- Build out PowerPoint presentations that will be used by the GM
- Communicate GM’s and other leaders direction through clear and succinct written communication
- Track next steps and follow-up’s for the North America leadership
- Meeting and event preparation, coordination and planning
- Occasional support to global executive team members
- Ability to work in an agile and flexible manner during high priority projects/assignments, which may include working different hours and weekends
- Miscellaneous projects as needed
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree highly desirable
- Experience: More than 5 years’ experience supporting senior executives
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail are crucial. This includes managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This includes the ability to draft emails, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Google Workspace, Adobe Office Suite and other relevant software. Familiarity with project management tools can also be beneficial.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality is a must.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams across different time zones.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage changing priorities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they arise.
The expected base salary for this position is $70,000-$80,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
