Must Haves:

• 4+ years supporting a senior executive, ideally in policy, advocacy, or government relations roles
• Strong calendar management- including travel booking/rebooking
• Strong experience managing expenses and submitting expense reports on behalf
• Strong comprehension and attention to detail and ability to deduce action items from forwarded e-mails, identified calendar conflicts, etc
• Strong intermediate Office Suite skillset (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and GSuite
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Event planning experience

Job Description:  A leading nonprofit is looking for a strong Executive Assistant search in the Washington, D.C. Area who will be able to travel. An experienced executive assistant who is used to working in the policy space and is local to the Washington DC area. The will support a very busy Senior Vice President of policy who is currently a 1 person dept until staffed - so lots to do. Heavy scheduling/rescheduling, staying on top of the execs emails, supporting events in person, traveling with the SVP as needed, submitting expenses timely and anticipating the SVPs needs is all part of the role.
