Client Overview:
Our client is a top-tier venture capital firm based in Manhattan, New York, dedicated to investing in innovative startups and emerging companies. With a dynamic team of seasoned industry professionals, they are committed to fostering growth and driving success for their portfolio companies. They are looking for an Executive Assistant to support 2 – 3 Executives. They pride themselves on a collaborative and fast-paced work environment that values creativity and strategic thinking.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$38/hr – $45/hr
$80k – $110k (if converted to Perm)
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support 2 – 3 of their senior executives. The ideal Executive Assistant will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This Executive Assistant role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the executives’ daily activities and contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Manage and maintain executives’ schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for the executives.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism as an Executive Assistant.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including booking conference rooms, setting up video calls, and preparing meeting materials.
- Assist with special projects and research as needed to support the Executive Assistant function.
- Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Monitor and respond to emails and other communications on behalf of executives as their trusted Executive Assistant.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing records, and maintaining office equipment.
Qualifications for the Executive Assistant:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a venture capital or financial services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
