CHMC-Executive Assistant to Administration – Full Time - Day Shift-7a-5p-Req 7868

(Shifts will be 8 hour shifts within the range listed)

Pay Range: $30.60-$40.54*

Job Summary:

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the executive leadership team by managing daily operations of the executive office. The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison and the first in-person point of contact to executive leadership, senior leadership, department leadership, medical staff, the Board of Directors, and external constituencies and organizations. Must have the ability to learn and maintain thorough knowledge of the corporate structure and administrative operations. Requires the ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and highly professional work environment. Report directly to the Senior Executive Assistant.

Qualifications:

Education:

Required: A.A.S. degree in secretarial services, business, communications or healthcare administration

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, communications, or related field

Training and Experience:

• Three to five years of related experience preferred
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, effectively manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently
• Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of personalities
• Advanced computer skills essential with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs
