About the Job
- Utilizing your experience to streamline and optimize processes while ensuring the organization of documents and important files with meticulous attention to detail.
- Working within a team environment to support the mission of Sharing Excess by providing administrative support, including document preparation, meeting coordination, and leading team meetings.
- Maintaining excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent messaging aligned with our goals. Take meeting minutes where necessary.
- Assisting with minor communication and marketing tasks, including but not limited to drafting social media posts, creating newsletter copy, and designing flyers in Canva.
- Demonstrating high emotional intelligence in interactions with colleagues and partners, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Remaining agile and adaptable in a fast-paced startup setting, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet evolving needs and deadlines.
- Displaying integrity and sound judgment in decision-making, particularly in autonomous situations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability to streamline and optimize processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Experience with logistics and nonprofit management is a plus
Compensation: This position is full time, available for Health Insurance Benefits after 90 days, Paid Time off and hybrid of in person and remote work. Compensation starts at $50k annually based on experience.
