Executive Assistant to Sr. VP and President of EPA - Emerson Hospital

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President and President of Emerson Practice Associates (EPA), provides comprehensive office management support that includes coordinating and implementing functions related to that position. Provides liaison between the hospital administration, general public, and hospital personnel.

Job Functions:

• Provides administrative support to the Sr. Vice President and President of Emerson Practice Associates (EPA) including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, answering phones, and delegating appropriate phone messages to the administrative staff.
• Answers the telephone and responds to inquires in a pleasant and positive manner. Prepares legible and accurate messages for staff and ensures accurate and timely communications are facilitated.
• Coordinates interview for leadership positions including itineraries, evaluations, and travel arrangements.
• Plans and coordinates corporate functions for EPA.
• Coordinates Board meetings and Committee meetings, including compiling material needed at meetings, coordinating, preparing the agenda for the meetings, and taking minutes.
• Assists the Senior Leadership Team in scheduling meetings and answering phones as needed.
• Collaborates with other Executive Assistants in Administration in the support of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Process check requests and capital requisitions as needed.
• Processes payroll for leaders reporting to the Sr. Vice President and President of Emerson Practice Associates.
• Manages supplies within administration.
• Takes authorized action during Sr. VP’s absence and uses initiative and judgment to matters that require attention and are referred to the delegated authority.
• Maintains and support patient’s rights to care, privacy, and respect.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
