ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will provide professional administrative support to the President and CEO, including overseeing logistics and administrative support for executive and leadership meetings. Must live in the Baltimore, MD or DC area (most work will be remote). Some travel will be necessary
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
- Daily Duties For the President/CEO:
- Monitoring and scheduling the daily, weekly and monthly schedule and general appointments for the President as requested.
- Plan all elements of the travel schedule for the President and CEO including making travel arrangements and communicating details of respective travel plans.
- Assisting in engagement of a wide variety of administrative support duties, managing complex schedule components and venue relationships and details for meetings.
- Assisting with preparation of general materials for meetings as appropriate and necessary. Assisting in the timely management of all communication, whether verbal, electronic or written.
- Preparation of agendas; attendance at relevant meetings; taking/transcribing notes or minutes as necessary.
- Process invoices, reimbursements and credit card reconciliations in WR ERP system, approve on behalf of President and CEO according to accounting regulation
- Engagement in other various duties required by the President/CEO, as necessary.
- Monthly or Other duties as needed:
- Coordinate all upcoming meetings and visits (for President & CEO and other SVPs and executive visits as requested)
- Plan, order meals, and set up for agreed meetings
- Budget and purchase all related and requested items for meetings
- Make reservations at hotels, restaurants, etc. as agreed
- Serve as liaison to WR's board of directors and carry out activities handle logistics for board meetings, help to compile reports to the BoD, and ensure they receive timely responses to inquiries.
- Ensure that members of the Executive committee receive regular reports and updates related to key team activities, deadlines and information about upcoming meetings.
- Technical coordinator of OOP meetings and engagements (i.e., zoom, MS Teams, etc.) for recurring key meetings and Qtrly gatherings
- Key Share Point Collaborator in design of OOP site inclusive of ExCo page and World Relief Strategic Initiative pages
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Highly attentive to detail
- Able to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Strong people and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible and self-directed, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Skill at completing numerous tasks on a deadline despite interruptions, flexibility amidst changing plans and agendas
- Skill at working with virtual executive team, including President and CEO
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate by phone or by e-mail with people for whom English is not their first language
- Proven ability to organize work, delegate responsibilities and monitor results to secure effective organizational performance
- Proven capability in building effective networks and working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and providing client-focused services to managers and staff
- Experience working in a multi-cultural context is an asset
REQUIREMENTS:
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Must live in the Baltimore, MD or DC area (most work will be remote)
- Some travel will be necessary

- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong commitment to caring for the world's poor and marginalized.
- Minimum of three years' experience in office management or administration

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General office setting.
- Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering data through computer keyboard & mouse, retrieving documents from printer, standing at copier or fax machine, and frequent attaching and removing staples.
- Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending.

- Equipment used: Personal computer (desktop or laptop), calculator, printer, fax, and copier.
