Executive Assistant - Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Corporation

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, collaborative and able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and with discretion.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Manage executives' calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Manage expense reports on a timely basis
• Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and conferences
• Respond to email correspondence and authorizing messages on behalf of the executives
• Screen and direct phone calls and emails
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Conduct research and prepare reports as needed
• Assist with special projects, as assigned
• Support team members, including VP of Investor Relations and VP of Finance
• Collaborate with other EAs and executives, if needed, to ensure efficiencies across all functions with a positive, helpful attitude

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role
• Biotechnology industry experience a strongly preferred
• Previous interface with or understanding the Wall Street investment community considered a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation:
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
